The Woodland Spa
Bespoke joinery and the full interior fit out for a £24 million luxury spa transformation at Crow Wood, Burnley.
The brief
The Woodland Spa's £24 million transformation was built around one idea: modern luxury sitting comfortably in a woodland setting. They needed a joinery and fit out partner who could hold that balance across a complex, high-specification building.
The interior had to flow out to the trees around it, so every piece of furniture and joinery had to feel natural and made for its room. The hydrotherapy pool, treatment suites and relaxation areas each brought their own technical problems on top of that.
Our approach
We started with the architects and interior designers, working through the detail before anything went into production. CNC machining gave us the precision; hand-applied finishes brought out the natural grain and texture the design depended on.
Corian was specified for hygienic, joint-free surfaces on the reception desks, vanity stations and feature areas. Humidity-resistant joinery for the wet areas, banquette seating for the relaxation lounge and the locker room joinery were all made in-house. From the lobby to the treatment rooms, the joinery guests see and touch came out of our own workshop.

- Award-winning interiors, with the spa now recognised as a leading wellness destination and our joinery a featured part of it.
- Corian throughout reception, vanities and feature areas, fabricated by our own certified team.
- One consistent guest journey, with crafted, tactile surfaces from the lobby to the treatment room.
