750 kW Solar PV Scheme

A rooftop solar installation for transport operator FDC Holdings, cutting energy costs and carbon across their central distribution hub.

The problem

With a fleet of 120 vehicles and rising energy costs, FDC wanted to cut bills and emissions, targeting a 30% reduction in energy costs and 20% in emissions over five years, while strengthening its sustainability credentials.

The solution

We installed a 750 kW PV system on the roof of their central distribution hub, generating around 900,000 kWh a year and cutting reliance on grid electricity. Tier-1 Aiko panels and SolarEdge monitoring were specified for efficiency and reliability.

Delivery & results

Installed over two months with minimal disruption to daily operations. In the first year the system cut electricity bills by 35% and carbon emissions by 25%, while raising FDC’s profile with environmentally conscious clients.
