Lining corroded valley gutters over a working production and bottling plant in Merseyside, with a 20-year warranty.
The problem
At Halewood International’s main production and bottling site in Merseyside, the valley gutters had corroded. Years of patch repairs had not stopped leaks breaking through in several places.
The solution
We surveyed every valley gutter to understand its build-up, then compared coating, full replacement and lining. The HD Sharman Plygene lining system was specified: it cost less than replacement and could go in with very little disruption to production underneath.
The result
Watertight gutters across the site, installed around a working plant and covered by a 20-year warranty.
